An architect by trade, and an entrepreneur at heart, Angela talks about her previous experience with IBM’s Watson AI and her knack for taking vast amounts of data and using it to create actual products.
She goes into the intricacies of finding out how people make decisions, based on the available data, and using that knowledge to create more advanced AI that can perform at much higher standards. Angela drops a bit of a bombshell, or what she would term almost a heretical viewpoint in her circles, about the importance of having good data vs. an excellent AI with limited information to act upon. Angela’s philosophy can be summed up in an eye-opening statement: “Data is the new oil, but do you know how to refine it?”
