Have you found your passion in life? Is there anything you like doing so much that you lose track of time when you immerse yourself in it completely?
Finding your passion is the main topic of this episode of The Data Standard, where host Darren Kaplan sits down with Ioannis Loukakis, a data scientist at IBM.
For Ioannis Loukakis, this life-changing event happened when he took a coding class in the summer of 2012. He was creating a model for predicting salary discrimination and found himself enjoying coding so much that he lost track of time completely. He realized then and there that his passion was the micro process of data science.
If youre an introvert trying to get into data science, Ioannis Loukakis has some advice for you: go to all the networking events, no matter how much you might not like it. The less senior you are, the more things you will need to do that you do not enjoy, he says.
Tune in with Darren Kaplan to listen to this exciting episode where charming Ioannis Loukakis talks more about his life as an introverted data scientist.
